WELL....that was a LONG hiatus!!!
I'M BACK...and this time...I'm here to stay!!!
Went on vacation this past week and I really had to take a good look at myself. Am I truly happy with my weight? No. Sadly. I am very unhappy. The day I got back from vacation I hit it hard, exercising and eating right. There was non of this "I'll wait till monday"...No, it was now or never.
I am very lucky to have such a huge support group. My parents, brother and wonderful husband are behind me 110% and are all on their own journey concerning their health/fitness. I also have some beautiful girl friends who are incredibly encouraging!!!
Well, my goal is to run the COLOR RUN this next year. So this week I started "training" with power walking for an hour....you gotta start somewhere right? I feel so good after my workout...its so refreshing! Both physically AND mentally...LOVE IT!
I also cut out all CRAP food...its healthy eating from here on out!!!
My wonderful husband made me a delicious grilled chicken wrap for dinner thursday night...a home cooked dinner for less than 400 calories? Thats what I'm talkin about!
Then tonight we went out with my parents to CHICK FIL A...can someone say YUM? I went for the regular chicken sandwich on a wheat bun and fruit (instead of french fries)...a little over 400 calories...but not bad for fast food :)
Well...I still have a long way to go...
My goal is to lose 30 lbs...and thats just what I intend it to!
